    CMP Eligibility Requirements

Am I reading this (http://thecmp.org/cmp_sales/rifle_sa...-requirements/) correctly that a copy of an FFL03 satisfies documentation of 'Marksmanship or other Firearms Related Activity'? So just that, a copy of my birth certificate and CMP affiliated club membership card and I am good to go?

Yep, and IIRC you won't need to notarize additional purchases for a certain length of time after the first order.

When they're ready to start selling the 1911s they will be putting out a new set of instructions just for the pistols. Like maybe they could require a notarized Page 2 with every order or details like that.

Just read through it carefully when they put it up on the Website.

It used to be to be eligible one had to qualify by SHOOTING for record over a recognized course of fire with an affiliated DCM club.
