Here’s what’s been done:

Picked up a modified bolt shroud off ebay and added the Wisner 2-position side swing safety.
Scope is a Redfield Revolution 4-12x40 on Warne rings and bases.
Overall this was a fun first project of this kind and I am very happy with the results. I had read a lot of stories about how hard removing a Mauser barrel was, but mine came off like butter. I was most worried about getting the chamber cut correctly, but I took it in baby steps and all went well. Some folks might think that stock looks f-ugly, but I like it and it does a good job of mitigating recoil.

This is also my first experience having anything Cerakoted (did through a local shop) and it has me looking through the safe for more to do lol:
Still tweaking the COAL but I like what I got so far:
I am using Sierra 175gr Pro Hunters, H4895, CCI LRP's and PPU brass.
Other things I learned along the way are you need to bevel and polish the chamber or your brass gets scratched up, and those safeties need to be hardened before you install them or the little hump becomes less of a hump in short order.
