    How are CZ-82's

How are they and is $190 a decent price?

I like mine. It's accurate and fun to shoot. Some shooters with larger hands find them too small but it fits me just fine. Ergonomically it's better than the mak as well. $190 (less tax, DROS and dealer xfer) is about what I paid.

I'm happy with mine. Shoots very well. I'm not real keen on the enamel finish, but it's tolerable.

The latest J&G ad in Shotgun News says good condition pistol, holster and 1 mag $179.00 Very Good condition $199.00.

I'm very happy with mine. Got it a J&G Sales about 2 years ago for $200.
It's got a nice sharp kick and, with hollow points, would make a decent back-up-gun for self defense.

I didn't like it. Sold it recently. Great gun but no matter how i held it it bit my trigger finger and the webbing between my thumb and index. I have thin large hands and my buddy had large meaty hands and it bit him too.

I actually prefer the CZ-52 to the 82. Also just picked up a Tokarev. All hail 7.62x25

I love my 82, it's user friendly, concealable, and accurate. I just wish mags didn't cost so much.

Very hard to find 10 round mag. for this gun,
I use CZ 83 10 round mag, it's for .380 but still feeds 9 makarov no problem.

What, you sold me an inferior product???

That being said, I have small hands, and I like it a lot. I initially thought that my Russian Mak was more accurate, but once I got used to the CZ-82, it's just as accurate (so I wasn't doing my job).

I've heard about the slide bite with all Maks, CZ-82, FEG-63, Walthers PPK/PP/PPK/S, bt I guess it only applies to people with larger hands.

I have an -83, and it's a nifty gun. Had it for a decade or so...just haven't had time to buy an -82 to complement it -- waiting to hit up JG sales in person with my C&R

                          Nick,

Maybe Eastern Europeans are genetically predisposed to fire the CZ's and like it.

Heh, have you seen the paws of an average Czech?

But you'e right, slide bite is nothing for tough Eastern European warriors, as opposed to you Texan sissies

Speaking of CZs, anyone got a CZ-83 he'd like to get rid of? This seem to be the right thread to ask that question
