What is the best way to attach some Mosins and SKS rifles to a wall?

Looking to display some old Mosins and SKS rifles on a wall. I have seen some great displays but don't know how to do it.
Of course, it goes without saying that the wall needs to be in a safe and secure room that is locked up.

Legally, if the room is behind a locked heavy duty door, does that constitute keeping the guns in a secure place? Obviously not a gun safe, but would it be considered responsible and secure?

I think it depends on if you have kids or prohibited persons in the home and if they can gain access.

Are you talking about a kind of display where you can't see how the rifles are "attached" to the wall?

If not, there are many hanger options.

Pick the wall you want to hang it from.

Fix bayonet.

Stick weld them to any column or gate that is near. 1/8" 6010 rod at 320-350 amps should do fine. Use multi pass flare-bevel groove weld procedure. Don't forget to fill the craters, and peen at least 12" around the weld with a high pressure needle gun.

It will certainly work. If you are a DIY guy you could make your own that will look much better.

How many rifles are you planning to hang on the wall? Are you thinking ahead? Will more rifles end up on the wall?
