    CA reg question

I live in CA, have an old Tula SKS, looking to trade for a CZ52/57 in AZ. Both are C&R.
    Can I do this?

Mostly worried about whether CA will allow CZ 52/57 into the state..Understand most of normal firearms stuff, but the CZ has a detachable 10rd mag, might be "assault weapon"?

If you do not have a C&R FFL + do not have a COE and the AZ resident does not have a C&R FFL, then there is only one option...
        A. The CZ52/57 is shipped to a CA FFL dealer, who then transfers (CA DROS + 10 day wait) it to you, and the SKS is shipped to an AZ FFL dealer, who transfers it to the AZ resident.

        B. You travel to AZ, acquire the CZ-52/57 from the AZ resident and transfer the SKS through an AZ FFL dealer to the AZ resident. You log the transaction in your bound book. Within 5 days of returning to AZ, you report the acquisition of the C&R firearm to CA DOJ BOF.

        B. You travel to AZ and meet the AZ resident with the C&R FFL. You then trade the SKS for the CZ-52/57. Both of you log the transactions into your bound books. Within 5 days of returning to AZ, you report the acquisition of the C&R firearm to CA DOJ BOF.

The CZ-52/57 is considered a featureless semi-auto centerfire rifle.

Thank you for that, That's the information I was looking for. Is there a list of such things posted anywhere? I might want to buy an unusual gun someday...
