I am looking for a K-31 in the greater Long Beach area. Does anyone out there know where I could find a clean on at. I don't want to pay the extra 35 bucks to my local ffl for the added handling charge on top of the D.R.O.S.

If you got a C&R on the way just wait for it, you'll be much happier you did when you spend that 60 bucks on 120 rounds of K31 ammo!

Don't let the cost of 7.5mm ammo scare you off. The price quoted above is way off. You can get 480 rnds for no more than $200 all in. Actually prolly closer to $180. Just search around...use terms 'Dan's' - 'Cheaperthan' - 'Ammo' - 'Swiss', etc.

Also, some major mfg's are starting to produce it too...cost of ammo is really a non-issue unless you can't meet your living expenses - in that case - you should'nt be purchasing C&R's or other stuff like this...

Hi Rick,

I live in Bell, right up the 710 from ya. I got 3 K-31's, one as a $69 special from AIM and the other two for $99 from Keystone Arms. I won't part with any of them, but if you like, I'd be willing to let you fondle them so you can get an idea of what to expect ordering online. Oh, and Ammo Brothers is fairly close to you. I couldn't find ammo at Big 5 or Turners for the K-31.

K31

I have a K31 and love it... I get my ammo everytime the gunshow comes to Costa Mesa....

I wish they made a higher cap mag for them... like a 10 rounder....

Thanks all for the ammo info. It looks like I will be missing the Nov. Gunshow. I am going to try to find someone to take my shift, I might have to bribe them. Timmy, Stevie and Hanko thanks for the Ammo info. Do any of you know if they charge a HazMat fee for shipping ammo?

Hazmat fee is not charged for ammo, just requires that little ORD sticker..

I got mine from AIM 2.5 years ago. Produced in 1941 and issued to Keller Oho of St. Gallen, born in 1926. He served in the 35th Heavy Motorized Recon Division.

I'm looking at most of them now and then seem to be the bottom of the batch. You might have to get one privately.

It seems like Ammunition to go has good prices. What the heck, I bought some to try it out and 10 buck shipping for a 100 round count( 60,20,20) is not bad. I got the Variety platter on these, Military , Prvi and the FNM brand. Just gotta see what I like!

I just disassembled my K-31 and, man, this thing's built like a swiss watch! Love the craftsmanship. Gotta order another one.
