Another FN-49

Grabbed this Venezuelan FN-49 purely for the ECHO Mount for one of my Lux AL Marked Scopes. I didn't think the rifle was anything special. However upon receiving the rifle I think the seller just did a poor job marketing. First off he should have ordered a 8mm magazine and taken the follower and spring from it. Then he should have taken better pics and stressed it was an all matching high number. Finally he should have mentioned the Mount is an Echo Military Mount.

My plan was to remove the Mount and base and flip the rifle and scope, but I may end up keeping it. I don't think it was ever fired. Does anyone know if the scope has any value?

Thank you. My intent wasn't to keep it because I have an unissued high and used low number Venezuelan already, but it maybe too nice not to keep.

also...the venezuelans had an amazingly huge bayonet, IIRC they were the last rifle to be issued w sword bayonets anywhere. might wanna consider getting one for that! v nice indeed.
