    Lee-Enfield .303 No 4?

Anyone know a good price for one of these?

I got a chance to fire one last week, and the grouping I got was amazing (it was pretty much all the rifle), especially since I've never fired one before.

Also, anything to look out for with these rifles, as well as different prices for different conditions? Thanks!

    150-250 for beat up ones.

400+ for very good condition ones.

700+ for still in wrap unissued ones.

Finding ammo in 303 Brit is an issue. Good surplus is all but gone. Current Indian/Pakistani surplus is suspect. New ammo is being made by Wolf in Serbia.

      Good Resources:

        I love the No4 MK2's.

        Here is my "sniper"

Not as nice as MJ's but I'm pretty happy with it.

Big 5 was selling Savage made No.4s within the last couple of months. Pretty cheap prices too.

Yup, those rifles are very fun to shoot. I have a Sante Fe Mountaineer (sporterized) and it loves 150gr loads. There is close to no kick in that rifle, now if you were to chop the barrel down a few inches ~~BEWARE~~ then it kicks like a mule.

Yeppers. I got a great deal on a create of South African 1960's 303 brit surplus from Irvington Arms a few years back. Great ammo.
