cz 52 smith upd

anybody know of someone who works on cz 52s? my firing pin shot out the back and hit me in the chest

Do you really need a smith?

the firing pin on the CZ52 is only held in place using the force of small spring pushing a metal piece upwards.

if they popped out and you still have them its not hard to put it back together.

theres a round stuck in the slide that im not sure is live.

HMMM im just curious, but if there is no firing pin would you really have a risk about the live round? Not being sarcastic, i really would like to know?

generally no, most 7.62x25 (other then new stuff) has pretty hard primers and its hard to set them off without a good hard primer strike.

see im not sure if its struck or not and i cant get the rollers to move in when i try to take the barrel off. so im not worried about an nd but from what i understand the case weather expended or not is preventing further disassembly.

you can try some penetrating oil such as PB Blaster and spray the different parts (rollers, breech face, down the barrel at the spent stuck cartridge) let it sit for a bit then try to remove the barrel as you would normally and see if it comes loose(may need a good bit of elbow grease)

got the round out. it was live as i suspected and there was no indent on the primer as i also suspected on the left side of the slide there is a push lever that i secures the round. i opened it and jammed it with a toothpick. then just took the barrel of as normal.
