Bren Ten Alternative

I trust the opinions of those in this forum more than the others so my question is which 10mm would be the closest to a Bren Ten. I was thinking either the EAA Witness Elite Pro or EAA Witness Elite Stock II. I really don't want to spend $3,600 on an original Bren Ten.

A double action 10mm only one I know is the EAA that is in production.

Choices seem to be Glock or a 1911 style.

Ever shot the Glock 29? Of the Glocks it's actually pretty nice.

I shot a member's EAA Witness Hunter in 10mm, it was a very slick and excellent handling pistol.

I can't comment on the comparison to a Bren Ten as I haven't handled/shot one.

Smith 1006/1076 are DA/SA and similar in size to a Bren, though they do differ in some areas. Nice shooters though, and my long sold Bren 10 never ran right.

The obvious lineage between the Bren Ten and CZ pistols would seem to suggest that a CZ-75 in 10mm would be just the ticket. Even in today's polymertastic market, people still like all steel guns that shoot big bullets.

I was thinking CZ-75 but I don't believe it comes in Stainless in 10mm.

Definitely don't want a Glock.

I want the closest in design, look, and function to a Bren Ten.

It isn't a substitute for a Bren Ten, but a Glock 40 is pretty sweet if you want a big 10mm.

G29 is one of my favorite guns ever, but it's definitely not a substitute for a Bren. Two totally different kinds of guns for different purposes.

Maybe an L.A.R. Grizzly Mark V, hahah. I dunno if they had the 10mm conversion for that one, but 50AE is pretty powerful.

The 1006 would be the closest to the bren 10. I have a few 10mm and my favorite would be my eaa witness hunter
