    Percussion cap size...

Biggest: CCI #11, too big for most guns, might need to squeeze with tiny pliers.

Remington #11, smaller a good fit for most.

Remington #10, even smaller, not so likely to come off Colt revolvers and fall inside but might be too small for some Colts.

CCI #10, smallest of all, even more likely to be too small.

Any of the four might be the perfect fit, all depends on your gun. The middle two (Remingtons) more likely to be what works perfect.

I'd have to double check, but I'm 99.99% sure I use Remington #10s on my Pietta 1858 Remington, no issues with them so far. Good fit, no jams from spent caps getting stuck either.

Good thread. I haven't fired my 1858 yet, and just picked up a TC Seneca Hawken today. Going to have to see what fits.

I had trouble with the CCI's when I first tried loading my '58 and someone on this board suggested I go to Rem 10's. Worked great..no problems since..
