About .50/round but a guy on gunboards has the Yugo Sniper Ammo for sale for less than that.

Looks like a mix of Yugo and Turk. The Turk should be around .30-.35 cents per round while the Yugo fetches around .40-.50 depending how desperate someone needs it.

I believe the Turk ammo is light ball and loaded hot and should only be used in bolt actions where the Yugo is heavy ball and can be used in semi-autos.

This is an accurate estimate. The Turk ammo can be had cheaply, but it is abusively hot and I just don't care to beat my Mausers or my shoulder up with it. Loose quantities of it have been known to have cracked necks and loose bullets as well. I bought a big lot of it sight unseen and there was a bunch of loose gunpowder in the bottom of the bag.

Unmolested bandoliers of Turk ammo have always been in nice shape, no damage to those. The Turk stripper clips are crappy.

The surplus Yugo is much better and I have had no issues with many different lots from different years.

I'd say $1 / 3rds of Turk. $1 / 2rds of Yugo. The later Yugo 8mm "sniper" ammo is top shelf stuff and would go for a bit more.

I just keep an eye out for the ammo I need, on the various boards. I was pretty lucky to run into some Romanian 8mm, 200 from one fella in Wisconsin, 200 from another in Pennsylvania. $355 covered 400 rounds delivered. Kinda hard to find on the cheap anymore, but I'm happy & my FN49 is supposed to be in love with it. PAX

Personally I buy the FN and Canadian "CIA" Ammo. Usually spend about .65/round shipped lately and it isn't easy to find but it is excellent ammo and non corrosive.

I got some of the 1950's PPU copper jacket. Some shoots excellent. Some not so good, split necks, click bang.
I would not spend more than 25-30 cents.
At this point with me, I would pay the same for both, granted the Turk is non magmatic.

My blue bando Turk is late '30s on very nice 2 piece clips. Shoots well and I've haven't had any split necks.
