It's been prevalent enough that I recently titled a thread showcasing a couple of my old, beater guns to appear to be a SPAM poster to the casual observer. A couple of follow-ups got the joke.

'Sold my VSTO stock after Trump won and before it crashed: Buy Johnson & Johnson!!!!!!'

One of my dogs is sick; barely wanted to eat anything. The only thing I could get her to eat was SPAM - for real.

Mozilla says that logins on this site are not secure. Any relevance? Might be time to go https.

The forum software should have updates for secure connections in Firefox. Since all this spam has pretty much the same content, I'm bettin it's coming from the same IP block somewhere in SE Asia. The Admin control panel should have the tools to ban that range in the block.
Should also have the tools to block the bots.
I don't fully understand how they do it, that's why I have an IT guru manage my forum, but the real damage the spammers can do by signing up, is hack into the forum members email database. Mail Servers masquerading as Spammers, then your email gets spammed, and they sell the list of emails to other spammers.
Either one should be a death offense, and I'll supply the bullets!

I thought you were talking about real spam.
Growing up in Hawaii....yes. I had spam, eggs and rice for dinner last night.

While working in Guam I enjoyed this delicacy. On a diet of spam eggs and rice a guy can work all day and battle those adventurous Japanese tourists all night.
