    Braggin' time

Sighting in a #4mk2 Lee Enfield today using S&B .303 ball. Fired shot #1, adjusted the sights and fired the next 4, group is .75", fired at 100 yds from a bench, issue sights.

The bore only had 20 rounds through it previously (outside of what was shot after it was assembled) and the rifle hasn't been disassembled so the bedding and bore are both pristine.

Wow, some people don't shoot that well with optics and the gun in a vice.

how do you even see where you are aiming at 100 yards w/o a scope? i tried with an eotech, and can't hardly get a 5" group. thats maybe the most impressive group i've seen.

Man, what a good shooting gun and shooter....combo.

The gun looks new, and you say it is. Where does a person find such a nice rifle?

            Thanks

I didn't realize you were going shooting today. Should've given me a call.

Thats impressive shooting. I might have to pick up some S&B. I've still got a couple hundred of the SA surplus left and then I'm into the expensive stuff.

Good shooting, especially with older eyes! If you get a relatively unfired mil-surp, like it sounds that you have, then accuracy can be surprisingly good. I have an M24/47 with a pristine bore that shot a slightly larger group than what you did at 100yds. Of course, I can never repeat that group, so it's now displayed on my refrigerator.

I was the only one on the rifle line for the first 1.5 hr. Just before I left a Dad and his son and another guy showed up. The range was pretty much empty. Sorry I didn't call, I would've liked to seen your new Imbel!
