Log Book questions for same day returns and moving entries

    Hi Gents,
First question, I received a Garand from CMP and after inspected I am returning it. Do I need to log it in like an FFL01, or as I am not 'aquiring it', dont have to.

Second, I bought a newer logbook from Brownells thinking I would not renew my 03 and start a new one after re-applying. But I decided to renew existing license. I like the new book style over the freebie version I downloaded when I first started. Only has a handful on their, can I transfer these to the need book or do I need to keep them in the original based on time entered?

    Appreciate any feedback or experience.

    Thanks

You acquired it the second you signed for it. The easiest thing to do is log it in and then log it out.

As far as the book, there is nothing wrong with transferring the records to a new book.

      Appreciate the response.

The first one seems intuitive enough, you think its OK to get rid of the original log sheet (they were looseleaf vs bound) after transferring the info?

As long as all the dates and info are the same, it really makes no difference.
