Ship SKS to CA

Anyone know of a C&R vendor who will actually ship an SKS to CA? I've looked all over with no luck. They always have the evil red letters: Not for sale in California.

I just bought one off gunbroker.

I have purchased Russian and 50+ year old Romanian SKS's off of Gunbroker with no problems.
Most of the big C&R vendors are selling the Yugo's and they are considered destructive devices in CA due to the grenade launcher. They also don't meet CA's 50 year old requirement for C&R's.

Yea..i also had a dealer tell me that the SKS was not california compliant or something...i dont get it...

It seems that many dealers just sell guns and know nothing about them or the laws outside of their area. I would think that if you are going to sell nationwide, that you would at least take the time to learn the basic laws of the states you are selling to.
