    Any Sacramento C&R FFLs?

    Hello,

I just received my 03FFL forms and am about to fill them out. I live in the city of Rancho Cordova, county of Sacramento.

Has anyone had any problems with the local authorities about your 03FFL?

And since I'm not "engaging in business", I thinking that zoning shouldn't be an issue. Is that correct?

Thanks to all those who contribute to this forum. It has helped me with many questions I had about this process...

You should have no problem with getting a C&R FFL in Rancho Cordova.

Fill out the form as directed here. http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting...fl03/index.asp

Send your cover letter and FFL copy to Chief Reuben Meeks. He is located at the Rancho Cordova Police department.

    Here is a sample letter.

RE: Notification of collector of Curios and Relics FFL Application

    Dear Chief (insert name here),

Included in this envelope is a copy of my application for a collector of Curios and Relics FFL. This is required per the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This application copy is just a notification of my intent to apply for a C&R FFL (see page 3) and no further action is required. Thanks for your time.

    Sincerely,

    (your name)

the LEO form is just to put them on record you are going to have the FFL for their files. It is not a permission slip. No Worries.

I am sure when I moved up here to Amador County, the Sheriff (pro-RKBA) just filed it somewhere under "Who Cares?"

Im sure the sheriff here in Sac has the same filling system (aka the trash can). As stated it doesn't require there permission its more of a courtesy then anything else. Good luck and prepare to drain your savings account!

+100%!!!! From the time I called ATF for forms, to getting my license PLUS my COE, it was like 3 weeks. Maybe a little less!!! Maybe I got lucky (?) But it is easier than anyone would ever think - makes you realize how much $$$$ you spent over the years on premium pricing and SOOOO many DROS's. I have had to stop buying because I'm going broke, and I HAVE NO MORE ROOM IN MY HOUSE FOR WWII RIFLES!!!!!!!

                    doc1buc,

Check out this thread (it's just below this one in the forum):

That's what I used. I sent my app and $30 off last Saturday so I'll see when I get it...

Everyone - Check out my post on page 6 of the sticky thread "Cal Regs" and see if I've missed anything about what can be done with a C&R...

I've filled out the online form request twice and saved both receipts of the requests. The first one I filled out was in late November and the second about two and a half weeks ago. How long does it normally take for the papers to come?
