I broke my M48 extractor so I ordered a couple from Numrich on November 22. They were shipped the next day, but I have not received them. According to the tracking info, the last location was Albany, NY. I called Numrich yesterday and told them that the package is lost, and I would like a replacement order or my money back. They said they think that the holidays are causing the delay with my package and I should give it more time. Furthermore, they will not refund my money or send the parts again until after 30 days have passed without delivery. These parts were needed for a Christmas gift. Waiting until December 22 to find out the parts won't be here really sucks. Anybody have another source? And how much integrity does Numrich have? Their customer service sucks.

Parts from Numrich

I think the 30 days issue is that of the USPS if they used priority mail. I had something go awry in shipping and the post office wouldn't do anything about it until 30 days passed.
Numrich has always been stand up for me. Their parts are hit and miss, sometimes they look like new and sometimes they look rough. -
I don't think Numrich uses priority mail unless you ask (and pay) for it. I have an order pending now, shows as "First-Class Package Service" USPS also shows expected delivery as Monday, and I expect that is a pipe dream.
The tracking info is also amusing, it started at Kingston NY on 12/2, then moved to Albany NY a little after midnight on 12/3, then was back in Kingston NY by 6 AM.
It is the post office, some of them are awesome, but quite a few can't find their arse with both hands, a GPS, a sextant and a flashlight.Comment

A while ago I bought an AR buttstock on Gunbroker. It was being sold by Numrich. I paid for it, and not even an hour later they credited back my payment. Their email said they don't sell 'assault weapon ' parts to Kalifornia. They did leave me a positive feed back though.

My package is still someplace other than here. I ordered November 24th. But everything I have ordered shows up. I have gotten junk parts before or missing parts, but they will make right.
With anything surplus, just think you are getting someone's junk spare parts.
But I have been able to fix a lot of Junkers with surplus parts.

I order and forget it for a couple of weeks, so I don't end up disappointed.Comment

My previous experiences with them have been good but like others, the shipping was slow. Anyone have a free shipping code?Comment

Not free, but if you call them before you order, you will get a code that knocks the shipping way down. This is an every time code, not a once in the while thing. As others have posted, the parts can be hit and miss, but their return policy is good, and they pay return shipping. From Albany to So Cal averages 10 to 14 days for me. I have been buying from them since the 1980's, when it was printed catalogs and mailed in orders.sigpic

My first and last experience with them was terrible. They sent out hand guards with missing parts. I called their customer service, requested for the missing parts but they don't have them and gave me the options to keep as it or send it back with no refund on shipping.sigpic

I only use them if i absolutely have to, and no other vendors have the items I need in stock. They've shipped new items in used condition to me before. Exchanges resulted in a different used item coming returned.Comment

I got charged $8.50 for first class package. When the package arrived, the label said they paid $2.60. Thanks for charging me the actual shipping charge Numrich. Not free, but if you call them before you order, you will get a code that knocks the shipping way down. I'll look someplace else for parts. It'll be a cold day in hell when I buy from them again.Comment
