My latest acquisition. No DROS, no 10 day wait and sent right to my doorstep with no 03/COE. Lyman Great Plains Rifle in 50 cal. I really prefer 54 cal but the assortment of bullets for 50 was greater.

Several years ago, I started getting into black powder and really enjoyed it. Then it just died on the vine. Foolishly, I sold several rifles and equipment at a very low price. Now I regret it. I'm starting to get back into it.

Definitely agree with you on the 50 cal. Alot more options for shooting and casting.

BP guns are the way to feel free in CA. That is a nice looking rifle, should be a lot of fun at the range.
