    Date this pic firearms historians

A relative posted this picture of Armenian women supposedly going to fight the Turks in 1895. This picture pops up here and there on the internet with the same date.

I am totally an amateur but it piqued my interest that the guns perhaps look like they are from a little bit later on than 1895?

Help me identify and date these firearms, collectors and historians of Calguns!

Since Turkey did not gain independence until after July, 1923, those females were going to fight Ottomans...if that's even the case.

Not sure about the dates of the rifles.

Armenians & Turks/Ottomans fought until 1920 when Armenia was brought into the USSR so it's very possible the picture was taken early in the 20th century.

I think I see a bayonet lug on the side of the weapon

I believe these both to be 10.15 mm. Serbian M1880 Mauser-Milovanovich rifles, owing to the way the receiver tang visibly projects out over the wrist of the stock. The M1880 M-M was a refinement of the Mauser Gewehr 71.
