Old ammo, not sure when. Any ideas?

    Old ammo, not sure when. Any ideas?

    Any detectives out there?at least 1/2 full of bandoliers.

    The nomenclature on the box suggests repacked DEN or Denver ammo plant production which was in operation during WW2. I'm guessing .30 M2 WW2 production marked DEN on the base which is corrosive. Loaded in 5 round clips for the 03 series and the BAR when used with a magazine filler.

      Looks like WWII Denver ammo to me too. I have a box just like it but sadly mine is empty.

        Hmmm. I've pulled a couple of the stripper clips out of a bandolier and they look ready to go. Pretty surprised. Too bad I don't own anything to shoot it

                    Really though, go find a nice shooter grade '03 and enjoy the heck out of it. Save your brass and reload for the cheapest of cheap shooting
