Looking for any info on a muzzle loading rifle I came across at a garage sale in Portola last week. I hope to post pictures when I figure out how. 42" barrel, approx .35 cal, double set triggers, metal crescent butt plate what appears to be walnut full stock with cheek piece. Cheek piece appears to have some hand carving on the bottom edge. Stock is broken completely through at wrist, dang. Makers initials are DFB in fancy scroll on top of barrel. It is now percussion, but maybe converted from flintlock? I know it's hard to tell by my description, buuuut yanever know. Thanks, Bill
