Okay, I have not been on CG for awhile =(. Super rusty, don't know much about relics. I'm not that much of a newbie, but I know there is a lot of new laws. The trade offer for me is this "relic". He says it dates by from 1800 and it's a .45 black powder pistol. I know about the antique 1899 rule, but is this even prior from that date, does it matter? Does anyone know the model of this thing and its estimated value? What's the legality of this, do I need to go to an FFL or not. I followed the flow chart here and based on my knowledge it is good to go unless we got some new commie rules I don't know about.Sorry for the dumb questions, but I know you guys got the answers!
The trade value of my item is around $70, and based on the picture what is consider the condition on this based on exterior! I need an appraisal, and legal information. Thanks guys, I hope someone can help!
