    SA Service Grade

Got my DBU on September 28th the day they sold out. Rifle arrived yesterday

For my first two Garands I tried the "sticky" for USGI wood and got CMP wood on both. For this one I figured I'd roll the dice and leave it alone and maybe get "third times a charm" luck. Still CMP wood but this one seems to have a bit of stain on it unlike the other two.

"should make a fine shooter" as they say. Nice lock up and the stock isn't as 'bulky' feeling as the other two CMP stamped stocks I got.

Anyway, best of luck to those of you that made the cut on this last batch.

At least you didn't get that crappy orange pumpkin wood. I couldn't get it off of my HRA SG fast enough.

Congrats, that's a fine looking M1. With the CMP wood at least you know lockup will be nice and tight.
