    Classic M39

I bought a "standard" Sako M39 from classic last week and got to take a look at it today. Very happy with it. Zero cracks in the stock, some light dents, but nothing I would consider major. Bore looked good and overall I would say it's in great condition.

I know people are dogging on Classic's (absolutely) ridiculous 'daily fire sale' of overpriced common guns they mascarade as rare or better-order-right-now, about to be out of stock forever!!! C&Rs, but when I mentioned in another thread I had ordered a normal M39 people wanted to know the condition when I got it.

I'll update with pics when I get it home.

Can't go wrong with an M39. Congrats!

The prices for those M39s are not unreasonable. I paid $180 9-10 years ago and these things are Porsches next to the 91/30, which are fetching 250 plus now. Plus, many M39's have 100 plus years old receivers. No FFl required. Mine's an 1897.

Those unaltered M39s will be chugging along for decades after all these new & improved rifles being peddled off of the salmon pro and alike innerweb sites bite the scrap heap.
