so i stayed home with them trying to get them from hiding under the bed without eating and drinking for two days. I had every intention of going.
My folks had a cat that was tore up badly by a couple of German Shepards. That cat disappeared under their bed for many weeks while recuperating. It is not unusual behavior.

    Hope they get better.

John, do your cats go outside? It sounds like they were poisoned if they both got sick together.

Cats can get really sick from ingesting radiator fluid.

Thanks Roger. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat. He was a member of our family and adored by everyone who met him. Everyone at the vets office was in tears at his passing and they all came into the room to say their goodbyes to him.

I believe you can tell a lot about a person by how well they treat their pets. For you to do what you did after only a month speaks volumes of your character. I agree that most shooters have a soft spot for furry friends.

Sorry for your loss. My dad just lost his 13 year old lab around the same timeframe.

My cats never go outside, that is why most live long lazy lives. I think the kitten we just got fixed brought home something that made them sick. She was checked for cat fever & other cat diseases so i know at least that will not infect my other cats. All is well now without another vet trip. Bought more ammo

Thank you and sorry to hear about dad's lab. We are looking at possibly getting a lab or a golden hopefully soon. We are going through a rescue group so who knows what we will end up with.
