    Old Subject with pics

I got into a discussion a while back about a BRNO Manlicher that I owned, and that I stated at the time it only had a Z in a circle instead of the CZ, and was told it didn't exist.. It took me a while, but I finally got around to taking a few pics, and I was right... Just the Z.... Love the gun....

LOL I knew someone was going to ask that.... I'll see what I can do. She's a beauty... Close ups always make them look kinda seedy. Guess I'm gonna have to drag out a deer skin and get artsy fartsy.... :-)

Now I'm a little confused?? I always assumed the 'Z' stood for Zastava, and I just received a couple of email notices that someone had replied to this thread. However when I click on the new post link, and it takes me to this thread, the new posts aren't there??? But..... a couple of links in the emails work and take me the BRNO website. In the text of the emails, it basically says the logo is still in use, but the link to the pic gave me a blank page?? Anyway, on the BRNO home page the pic at the top has the logo, and the manufacture is Zbrojovka. So after all this, my question is.... are Zastava and Zbrojovka two differ factories? Or two different labels from the same factory?? http://www.zbrojovka-brno.cz/en/Default.aspx

I believe Zastava was Yugoslavian then Serbian after the post Cold War split and civil war. From your link Zbrojvka is Czech Republic currently which would have been Czechoslovakia prior to the end of the Cold War. Two different countries, two different companies.
