When I do a Cashman field gun-show I'll often sniff around the pawnbrokers in LV.
Generally chatting with these guys, it's a case of the Pawnbroker buying in LV, where people desperately need cash and quick, and then sending anything interesting out of the city to other stores where the items are sold.
They pretty much all agreed, not a whole lot actually sells in LV pawnbrokers, they are there for a specific purpose - fast, expensive money.
People trek into LV to gamble and holiday not to buy antique firearms.
Surrounding Cities, with healthy economies and rural nature, Reno, Parump, are more likely to have what you want.Pitfighter.

Then again, not that annoying, I flew down, so if I found something I couldn;t live without, I would have to deal with TSA assclowns to get it home.....Comment

When you go to Vegas, it becomes quickly become apparent that the main purpose of the town is to quickly separate you from as much of your money as possible, as quickly and efficiently as possible. I can't think of a worse town to buy a C&R. If they had any, but they mostly don't. Arizona for the win. I went to a shop in Kingman that had a lot of all types of guns, but in particular, they had three 20' long racks of nothing but C&R rifles. Type 53s, Chilean Mauser Carbines, Caracanos, Mosins. Wish I could recall the name of it.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer
