Here's a good source for period correct replacement leather items

I have been shooting the vintage sniper match at the CMP western games in Phoenix for a few years and last year I decided to take my Swedish M-41b to try it out to 600 yards.

When I got to the rifle check, they told me I could not use my laced-on cheek riser since it was not in the original military style
Luckily there was a nice guy there who offered to let me use his riser since he was shooting with one of our friends. He told me where to buy these and I've been holding off but finally ordered some items a few months ago.

These are from Jon Moore of http://www.mooreleather.co.uk/ and he makes a lot of different items, including USGI replica scope lense covers and slings.

I took a few pics of the items here, in case anyone is looking for military leather pieces, Jon is a good source!

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

He does very nice work. The rifle looks great with the sling, cheek rest, and scope lens covers.

Thanks guys, yeah I'm really happy that it turned out so nice. He makes all kind of nice items, including hood straps for the original mini cooper's like in that movie "Italian Job".
I saw another post on a forum about his chamber cleaning sticks based on a parker hale design. I guess the reenacting crowd likes them?
