    if it is a free gun I wouldn't worry to much it does have some weird markings but they are easy to create, I think who ever had it before wanted something cool to be stamped into the receiver.

      Thanks to KenG! I've learned it's a M-43 manufactured for commercial sale which is great since it shouldn't have the problems of the WWII produced rifles with soft weak receivers and will be safe to shoot with modern ammo.
      Also thanks to everyone who has helped with trying to identify the rifle.
