Your roll of the dice paid off. The Finns look nice. If I read your post correct, both rifle was luck of the draw? No hand pick? If thats the case I think you hit a home run...

Very nice!Originally posted by ChrisBrooklynyup, no handpick, just rolled the dice!
With that kind of luck - Maybe you should consider play the lottery or go to Vegas!
Only one problem; Once you shoot them you'll get spoiled and won't to shoot any other Mosin-type rifle."The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing." I love the Finn M-39's.....Looks like a nice pair you got there.
I've been on a bit of a Finn buying spree buying too.....
Over the past few months I've acquired a 1968 dated M-39 and two 1970 dated rifles...Also two Finn Tikka m-91'a dated 1944. One on a "hex" receiver, and the other on a round receiver, with it's original arsenal hang tag...
Also got a Finn marked Swedish 1923 dated M/96 Mauser rifle which should arrive in a few days.
Beautiful riflesPoke'm with a stick!
