    M1 carbines range report

Got a chance for a quick trip to the range and took my Inland and Underwood carbines with me.

Only shot them at 50 yards this trip, but they seem to shoot pretty well...

    The Underwood:

    And the Inland:

Nice shooting. I have an IP that will clean the target at 200 yards, no BS, I've done it.

              Thanks, guys!

I've got a Universal that will keep up with the GI carbines. It is the newer type, though, with the stamped op rod.

I've had my M1 carbon for almost 6 months now and haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Where's the best place to get ammo for them right now?

I was shooting a henry lever action rifle this weekend with iron sights at 60 yards. All I could see was the entire target as black. Thats good shooting.

Thanks, guys. I started out to do 5 shot groups, but the carbines are just so much fun that I went with 10 rounds.

The Inland has a 5-43 or 5-48 Inland barrel on it. It is hard to tell which. The Underwood has an undated Winchester barrel. The Underwood also has a Universal Windings receiver.
