Having used Frog Lube on a dozen of my rifles before they sat around, I'd say go with something else. The FL will become sticky and you'll find that bolts/ slides become hard to use (not a lot, but enough to be noticable). A problem if you don't shoot them a lot or there're months between shoots or cleanings

Had some sticky probs with some of mine plus my new Beretta handgun. Cleaned bolts or slides and redid with Hoppes and they're super smooth now
March 29- April 5, 2019- The Million Mag March. Thank you, Judge Benitez and all the vendors

I commend you for saving that fine Swiss rifle. I believe there are a few sources online for replacing damaged keg handle pieces. Swiss GP11 is now available again so I recommend grabbing a case and getting to the range.

I am mot sure if K31 magazines will fit a 1896/11 but they are usually rather pricey. I have never even seen a 96/11 mag for sale by itself.

I believe the magazines are different and the K11 type cost more. Where are all you SoCal people shooting all this magnetic GP11, Raahaugees?

A Buddy is bringing me a few rounds to try out. If all goes well I'll have to snatch up some ammo
