Next purchase?

I was not one of the "chosen few" who got an M1 Carbine in CMP lottery. I know that the CMP Garands are always a good deal, and I am considering ordering a Garand when the CMP fills all its back orders.....but what is a good deal now? Have we passed the Golden Age of Curio & Relic?

Like others who have posted here before, I have a few C&Rs, but what I have is too unfocused to be called a "collection"....it is more like an assemblage. I like my Mosins, but think it is time to focus on some quality.....and to see and handle the C&Rs before I buy.

Ant thoughts or suggestions out there?

You simply cannot beat the quality of a Swiss K31 for around $350.

Good deals are still out there to be found. Just got to look. In the past year, I've bought a couple good deals, and a couple scores. From a beautiful Smith Corona 03a3 at $650 to a gorgeous Sako m39 for $200. Just be vigilant, they pop up here and at shows.
