Got my Field Grade Garand today!

Well after getting a very nice service grade last week, I feel lucky to get another nice example of a field grade. It's a March 1944 serial number with a 3/44 barrel which I'm very excited about. And the stock isn't firewood, but a very nice one!

You got very lucky, many Field Grades are in need of a rebarrel and stocks are very rough . Field Grades in that condition still meet the grade description

Looks like you scored. I wouldn't worry about the MW/TE at all, since I imagine most Garand fans don't shoot them enough to accelerate the wear further anyway.
