Assault weapon ban SB1135 and 880

Ok, so now that the leftists have succeeded in violating our constitutional rights with these statutes, does anyone have an opinion as to whether M-1 Carbines and Garands will have to be registered as assault weapons?

    Thanks for the replies

        LOL

No registration required for featureless, Mini-14, M1 Carbine, Rem 742 / 7400, Garand, SKS, etc.
This seems to be directed primarily at rifles originally sold with both evil features and mag locks / Bullet Buttons.

Thanks, that is how I read Section 1, a. 1 of SB 1135 as well.

If it is set up as a featureless rifle, then it is not affected by the new laws.

If it is set up as a fixed magazine semi-auto rifle/pistol/shotgun using a "bullet button" style maglock, then it is affected by the new laws.

              ^^^^This.
And yes I have an opinion, but since this has been discussed ad nauseum in the legal forums here, a simple no should suffice.

Thanks all. Going to be interesting to see how ingenious gun owners become with products to defeat the bullet button ban and AR registration.

Was thinking that too. Wonder if turners will retrofit to featureless AR15s
