    Don't want to thread jack, but OP if you live in the SF Bay Area LC Action in San Jose might still have some agency trade in S&W model 64's, I know not C&R, in stock for $299. Again, didn't want to thread jack but thought that this info could be useful

      If it's a pinned and recessed Smith: 5/7 would smash at $399.

      Notice the cross pin through the frame where the barrel screws in. Also, if you open the cylinder, you would see that there is a recess counterbored into each chamber for the cartridge rims. This is desirable.


      Notice that this one does not have the pin in the frame. Less desirable.
