Arisaka type 99 porn

Don't believe it's matching. But a few questions for the experts; I read these type 99s weren't made to decock (true / false?) anyone know the maker marks, is there any way to date it?

Can't say I've ever seem those scallop machine tool chatter marks on the inside top of front receiver.

Can't make the series mark but most likely 8th (1944) or 11th (1945). Made at Nagoya arsenal. Maybe you could take a dead on pic of the small mark to the left of the serial number. Fantastic rifle with the Mum intact, bolt mistmatch.

As far as "decock" not sure what you mean, but they are cock on close. The round knob at the rear is the safety.

Granted there is no round in the chamber or in the magazine, you can decock by cycling the bolt half way, then pulling the trigger as you close the bolt.

Last ditch


This was a "rescue" that I got for next to nothing. It had a fair amount of surface rust and was very dirty and dingy. Ground mum but otherwise complete and matching.

Eventually would love to add a early version with all the fun extras monopod dust cover aa sights. You have some nice rifles and they seriously ground that mum to dust! Did you refinish the wood? And have you or do you have plans to shoot any of them? I want to shoot it but I'm a little worried.

Kinda curious if anyone knows what the original finish of the wood is, mine seems lacquered which idk if is original or not.

When I have more time I'll clean the Ole workhorse down. But fun fact for whoever cares. After receiving the rifle I was talking to the dude at my local ffl of stories of the bring backs, some gi's would refinish the stock and get I'll and get a weird sickness and die from whatever the stocks were finished with. True or not, it's kinda interesting.
