Hello all , got a ASM (MARCO made in the 70's ?) 31 cal BP pistol on the way , got it from a fellow Cal-Gunner...question is what size lead balls should be used , was thinking of buying OO buck from Midway (.330?)

Those may be a little large diameter wise and cause undue hurting of your hand working the loading lever, especially if it is only a 4'' barrel. If I remember correctly, I use a .321 in my original '49 pocket model.

      Thanks for the info Jon...............
I'll have to search around for the correct size and a bit of trial and error may be needed , can't find any info on Armi San Marcos 1849's that tells me the correct size...I'm sure Midway or Dixie Arms have a selection to choice from ...

Lee makes a round ball mold for it that's right around .321. If I can find my mold I'll post the size here.
