Moschetti M91/38 TS (special troops' carbines) 8mm conversion

The majority of Moschetti M91/38 TS (special troops' carbines) 8mm conversions were used as trainers in Egypt, Syria and the UAR post-war) They were made post-war. 1953 & 1954

I picked this one up from a friend that was culling his Carcano collection.

Here it is next to a M38 Carbine chambered in 7.35

Do not relish to feel what the men that used these weapons felt when they saw the elephant. For the elephant has tusk and to see him is to have his tusk dig deep into your soul. You will always have a part of you that will be cold and empty.

I would think that would give the Styer a run for the money in which kicks harder. It is an interesting rifle that I didn't know existed.

It doesn't kick bad, but it does make a nice fire ball.

Have an 8mm cav carbine in pieces currently, can't wait to get it together and get the crap kicked out of me! I love carbines, and carcanos. Think i'm up to 7 or 8 now...

I have never been a big Carcano fan but, bought my first one just to have one for my WWII collection. Somehow I have ended up with nine.

I'm not arabic but I think the two characters on that buttstock = 25 in western numerals.

That pic was taken in the weapons test firing room at the Louisiana State Police Crime LAB.
The walls are covered with rubber blocks and there is a bullet stop/trap that we fire into. The tank to the shooter's left is filled with water. It's a bullet recovery tank. I have a sweet job, I get paid to shoot guns.
