I've got a 03a3 receiver (reclaimed drill rifle) that I want to build to an 03aFaux rifle. My understanding is that the scope base holes can be a biotch due to the surface hardness of the receivers, otherwise I'd attempt it myself.
I was referred to Chuck Moline (aka chuck in denver on several boards, owner of Warpath Vintage), but he isn't responding to emails right now, and his link on the criterion barrel site with price lists is dead.
So.. anyone a. know if Warpath Vintage is still in business, or b. have a recommendation for any so-cal smiths who know these rifles and can drill/tap and install a barrel?
Thanks in advance.
