    I've seen some that are permanent periscope guns. I've seen some that have an attachment.

    I've never seen one that transforms....

        There is a great display of these "trench" guns at the Springfield Armory Museum in Springfield Mass. If you ever get up that way.

            The one on display is a 1917 version of nearly the same. We didn't have time to take it out of the case this trip. But we found this one in the archive, resting and inventoried, but without much attention for some 50 years it seems.
