Turners in chino hills has a 1943 K 98 for 500. The nazi eagle is intact. Not a lot of markings . looks unmolested.

Yep, just got off the phone with them, CE 43. Flat buttplate from what the guy told me.

Consignment item so its not transferable to any other Turners. I'd be interested if I didn't already have 3 and they could move it to a closer store. 1 hr each way kills it for me.

It has been there I was going to mention it seems OK for a Russian Capture of that type these days. That sporterized Berthier for $300 will be there until hell freezes over.

Eh steal would be if it was 450 or less out the door. @ $500 with tax and dros topped on its just about average/meh.

The wood is very dark, kind of a rough finish. 6 months ago i would have bought it. the eagle seems to be important on a RC. It is not a great deal but any K 98 in good condition is worth 500 these days.
