I would try Century arms, as they have a lot of parts guns.

Will a installed roll pin keep the pistol operational?
1911s and Browning HPs don't have de-cockers and if memory serves me correctly they work well.
There is a lot to be said about having the pistol with all it's correct parts.
Remember that the roll pin idea exposes you to liability issues and will not pass a range safety inspection.

What are you even talking about? The P-64 safety is a rolling block safety/decocker that also holds the firing pin into the gun. You can't just magically install a roll pin and defeat a whole system.

OP, That parts availability comes and goes but they are decently rare even when they are on the market. Your best luck is to probably watch ebay for slides that come up for sale once and a while and harvest it from that. Sometimes they come up on gunbroker alone for 35-40. Your probably just going to have to wait for a while.

Sorry to hear it, from everything I have read about the only parts that break on these pistols are the firing pins and the safetys. Next time I see those parts available I might pick up spares.

Did you decock the gun without easing the hammer down a lot? I hope my p-64 never has these issues, sorry that yours has.

          Dang, that's what i figured.

The P64 is (was) my most shot handgun, i love this thing. I didnt use the decocker much myself, only when i was loading it for home defnse, so maybe 12 times at the most and i would ease it down with my thumb

Sorry to hear that. Interesting it wasn't from decocking. When I read about broken safeties on http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3 I always wonder if its from excessive decocking or dryfiring.

Did a ebay search, theres two slides on there at the moment:

I know 120 is probably more then you wanted to spend but that's your best bet at the moment. You'd then have a spare firing pin too...
