Need help valuing 1st Gen Colt SAA

Can anybody provide a fair value for this 1st Gen (1908) Colt SAA with a 4 3/4" barrel? All the numbers match including the assembly number on the loading gate and frame.

Looking through completed auctions on GB show similar guns going in the $2,000 range, maybe $2,200.

Since it's C&R, there's no additional CA value for unobtainium, just the usual shipping and dealer fees to consider.

If I were looking for such a revolving pistol, I'd keep looking online.

It certainly has a lot of character....

I would value it like this; .45 Colt caliber and 4 3/4" inch barrel are big pluses. There is virtually no original finish left and the grips are quite worn. If it is mechanically sound with a decent bore, I would personally pay no more than $2200 for it. There shouldn't be any PRC premium for it as they are C&R and can be purchased out of state and shipped there.

If I was interested in it, I would print out a bunch of sold comps from Gunbroker and add the cost of shipping and FFL fees to the selling prices and that would be the max I would pay.
