No, but once you have the manual of arms movements with an M-16 drilled into your brain, you can do it with just about any long gun.

I would not risk twirling any of my beloved Garamds or 1903's, that's what parade rifles are for!

I wouldn't flip any of my rifles. I did, however, do rifle manual with my 1903 and M1 just for the hell of it. Worked out just fine.

Considering that the M1 was my issue weapon, and I performed on a few parade fields, I have no problem with the Garand drills.

I have not been able to master the Queen Ann Salute with an AR though.

I could see twirling a 10/22 but a 10lb Garand with bayo? That takes talent.

I flipped one of my CMP SG M1s last year and made a few hundy on the deal.

Friend of mine was in an Air Force Honor Guard. While the unit was practicing some Garand flips he took a bayonet to the thigh.

If I try it with my K31 and a 1914 pioneer bayonet, I won't have to make an appointment with my doctor for a vasectomy.

MOVE THE RIFLE AROUND YOUR HEAD, NOT YOUR HEAD AROUND THE RIFLE!!

I swear during Army basic training we spent days on end just marching and doing D&C. Fun times.

If I dropped my M1D Toole sniper the next thing I would do is shoot myself with it.

When you attach a pioneer bayonet to a K31, it ceases to be a firearm and becomes a jousting lance.

                          "That's a fact, Jack"!

                          Sorry, I couldn't resist. :-)

                          Actually, I don't...

Next to me in the blackness lay my oiled blue steel beauty. The greatest Christmas gift I had ever received, or would ever receive. Gradually, I drifted off to sleep, pringing ducks on the wing and getting off spectacular hip shots.

Did it in boot camp but it was anything but quite, we actually were told to slap rifle to make sound to coordinate everyone to get in step/cadence.

I haven't (actually I don't have a Garand), but my fiancee did colorguard in school and still has her colorguard rifle. I wonder if I could convince her to try with my Mosin...
