    russian sks ???

    hello gents i have ? I own Russki sks it has bayonet on it what is the law in comifornia please help me it has been over 10 years i havent shot this rifle i like to keep it original and take it to the range

    Do exactly as you said,and take it to the range. Your G.T.G. if left in it's original C&R configuration.

        Russian SKS = bayonet OK.
        Newer China SKS = bayonet bad.

                actually bayonets are just fine on any and all SKS rifles. The ban went away in 2004 people let's get with the times. This is not to the OP but to the person who said it's not ok on a chinese.

                    Unless you have the sporterized Russian SKS with a detachable magazine, you are fine.

                    Also, do not modify your Russian SKS to accept a detachable magazine.
