Southern Ohio Gun won't ship to California?

Many sellers refuse shipping or selling anything into California, something about having to fill out extra paper work and paying some kind of tax im not sure. But I am going to tell you its going to be a bit of a hassle to convince the seller to file that paper work.

Out of state FFL don't pay a tax. They do obtain a computer generated
Document that confirms the receiving FFL is approved to receive firearms in
CA. The firearm isn't even identified on the document.

Some, not all, refuse to ship to California because of their own ignorance. Even if you try to explain the laws to them, the response is usually "I don't care, tell your legislature to change the laws." This doesn't make sense, because the item is legal to ship. It gets frustrating, but there are plenty that will ship and they get my repeat business.
