    Mosin 91/30 hex receiver

In case anybody is looking for a hex receiver 91/30. I was in the Stockade in Westminster yesterday looking over their stock. There are a couple of nice Mosin 91/30's on the rack, one round receiver, one hex receiver. Both are $385, which is high but if you want a hex receiver... Thought about it, but I just bought a beautiful M44 and a Big 5 Yugo M48 so I have to pass.

there better be something way more then just a hex for $385. I will give who ever wants a SWEET! deal for $300 for a hex: )

For that, you can get a VKT Finn M39...which, BTW, is almost always a hex receiver. It seems the Stockade's a little too proud of their 91/30's in this case.

The M39- of the rare cases a round receiver is worth significantly more than a hex.

Better be a rare manufacturer for that price.

The Stockade and Sam Foulup's have always been proud of their inventories. They've never been known for a "good deal".

I love mosins but 385 will put you into a Finn M 39 on a hex receiver. 225-275 is a good fair retail price for a hex mosin.

I just picked up a nice 1938 Tula round still covered in cosmoline for 190 shipped from a calgunner.

                      Good prices are out there.

Haven't had a chance yet. Spent a couple of days getting the cosmo out of the stock, action and barrel. Then I decided to clean the stock with some Simple Green. Ended up with a bare walnut stock, so I've been put a few coats of BLO on it. Maybe next weekend.

For all three? We talking entire rifles, or just bare receivers?
