    Shiloh Sharps question

Is a Shiloh Sharps 45-70 considered a modern firearm?
    What about if a different caliber, like 45-90 - or 45 -110?

I believe it is because it uses fixed ammunition that is readily available. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me, I'm sure. If you were using paper cartridges, then NO.

I don't care what it is... I want one in .45-110 soooooo badly. Probably won't be able to afford to shoot it... but I want one!

45-70 would be just fine, too!

I have a 45-70 C Sharps that was custom made to my specs. It took 4 months and cost just over $3300. It's a beautiful gun and the fit and finish is amazing. I chose 45-70 because of the availability of the brass. The modern reproduction can be loaded to level action rifle pressures, which is one solid kick. C Sharps say I can use loads to 33,000psi safely.
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.
